Covering all the necessary outcomes for entrepreneurship, the introduction boot camps are run either during 4 allocated lessons of 45 minutes or over a weekend and gives kids and teens an experience of starting and planning a business. The boot camps are held on the school premises and include tools and templates that can be used for assessment purposes if required. The modules are delivered through simulation activities and led by a team of experienced, passionate entrepreneurs.

The following modules are covered throughout the Bootcamp:

How to plan and start a business- this starts with understanding the ideation process and how to qualify whether or not an idea holds enough value to be a business. The group will learn to create a business model canvas and how to implement the lean methodology. By the end of the day, the students will have an idea that has been questioned and they can start creating a sample or MVP.

Creating a Minimal Viable Product/Service- this module covers planning out and sourcing what is needed to create the first version of a product or service that can be taken to market. The students start packaging the value proposition for marketing purposes and collecting information about suppliers and possible competition. They will generate unique selling points that create a differentiated marketing position.

Identifying Customers- A critical step in creating sustainable businesses is identifying and understanding customers. This module delves into building customer profiles using avatars as the tool with which to do so. The students also build a customer journey and activities that will take their chosen customer from first engagement to a buying moment as well as identify the marketing tools needed to aid this journey.

Pricing and Costing- this module is all about the numbers. Students will start with working on what it is going to cost to create the product/service as well as what it will cost to run this as a business. They will then do a benchmarking exercise to see where their direct and indirect competition is pricing and where there are areas of competitive advantage. The students will then price their product or service and insert this information into their marketing channels.

However, By the end of the Bootcamp, the students will have a qualified business idea that they have cost and priced and are in the process of generating a minimal viable product to test and take to market. They will have identified their first group of customers and have developed a plan to market to those customers and be in the process of developing material and channels. They will be able to define their position in the market based on the competition and their unique selling points.
