FutureProof invites educators to a full-day workshop to equip them with the essential methodologies for developing entrepreneurial mindsets and teaching using entrepreneurial pedagogies in any learning area. The workshop promises to give educators the following tools:
Entrepreneurial Learning Science
The learning science of educating entrepreneurs is steeped in a deep understanding of how entrepreneurship is seeded and grown. Educators will be introduced to the science of entrepreneurship as a discipline and how it applies to all areas of life, not just enterprising action.
Entrepreneurial Learning Processes
Entrepreneurial learning processes enable educators the ability to integrate multiple learning styles into their teaching methods such as social mobility and action-based activities. Educators will take away with them a framework of processes that build entrepreneurial thinking and allows access for entrepreneurially-minded children to be nurtured and nourished in their classroom.
Entrepreneurial Assessment Practices
Successful entrepreneurship is based in behavioural competency. Educators will be introduced to entrepreneurial traits as a measure of success and work with various scales and structures that allow them to formalize the assessment of these competencies and report effectively.
Entrepreneurial Lesson Planning
In this workshop, educators will be given and develop their own lesson frameworks in order to plan and execute lessons in entrepreneurship using best practices from Babson University, the Kaufmann Foundation and the Erasmus Institute for Entrepreneurship aligned for a South African economy.
